Each Serving Tray has a custom design, created in epoxy resin in a wooden tray base. Epoxy designs are uniquely fluid, due to the liquid mix of resin and hardener, that is manipulated prior to curing. Designs are inspired by a variety of influences including river rocks, nebula, ocean waves, Southwest themes, stone and other natural phenomena.
The design of each tray is unique, so the exact item pictured on this site is representative, but may already be sold.
Prior to completing your purchase you will be prompted to contact the artist to view my current inventory in the style of your choice, or to discuss recreating a pictured item.
Items with “facets” are made with Epoxy Cell Generator, which disburses the top layer of epoxy outward from the center of each facet or cell. Consequently, there will be a slight dimple in the center of the facets or cells. The surface of the piece is essentially flat and the dimples do not affect the usability of the piece, but they are mentioned here as they are not visible to online purchasers.
